Swim a Mile for Hospice

What is Swim a Mile?

The first Saturday of August Hospice hosts the Swim a Mile event at Postwood Park Beach in Hannawa Falls, NY. This event is a non-competitive, open water swim to raise money for Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley. Speed is not the important thing. What is important is sharing a unique athletic experience on Hannawa Pond and supporting your community in the process!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Together, 77 participants, numerous donors, boaters, volunteers and supporters made the 7th annual Swim a Mile for Hospice a HUGE success. More than $26,000 was raised to support patient and family services. This will have an immediate impact in the lives of many of our community members. Thank you for your support. We hope to see you on August 5th 2017!!!
